Here we are at our first game but it is just a friendly game with the locals. This was to get our feet wet and get used to altitude. Although the girls did not speak the same language in soccer (futbol) it is all the same on the field. They met during practice and quickly made friends. The parents in the stands said Buona Serra and did a lot of smiling....that was all we could do....The girls got out their jitter by keeping the score at 0-0!!! WOW!!! did they look impressive on the field. They played an amazing game with everyone cheering them on from the stands. Impressive by the coach's standards and the locals! There will be more to come from this game. Tomorrow we are off the Siena..no games scheduled. Ciao!
